Claus from Boro

Claus Jürgen von Boro , born Claus-Jürgen Edler von Boroevic , (born January 1, 1918 in Berlin ) is a German film editor .

Life

He began his professional career in the second half of the 1930s as a volunteer at the production companies Afifa and UFA . Here he received his training as a cutter. From 1940 to 1943 he participated in the war.

After the end of the war he was involved in the film editing of many important German feature films of the 1950s. Several times he also acted as an assistant director , for example in Kurt Hoffmann's Fireworks . Since 1965 he worked with director Volker Schlöndorff and was thus also involved in the creation of the New German Cinema .
