action

On behalf of the National Security Agency (NSA), a technology was developed that makes it possible to keep the world standing still. However, since the risk cannot be calculated, the NSA boss Moore ended the project.

A prototype in the form of a wristwatch, with which the wearer can put himself in "hyper time", happens to fall into the hands of high school student Zak Gibbs. He is more than amazed when he realizes that for him time passes "normally" at the push of a button, while time seems to have stood still for the rest of the world. At first he used the watch for a number of pranks, but soon had to deal with secret agents who were supposed to bring the invention back to NSA boss Moore. So Zak has to keep getting to safety from his pursuers. His girlfriend Francesca is involuntarily drawn into Zak's activities and ends up with him in one dangerous situation after another.

It is indeed an "entertaining family entertainment that will hardly remain in long-term memories and the promise of a return to the future for the new millennium." only redeemed to a limited extent. "

The Lexicon of International Films rates the film as a “science fiction comedy for a young audience that strives for family-friendly entertainment without major ambitions. The main attraction lies in the many time gaps that offer the opportunity for turbulence. "
