The Communauté d'agglomération Luberon Monts de Vaucluse is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the department of Vaucluse in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It was founded on January 1, 2014 and currently comprises 16 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in the town of Cavaillon .

Historical development

The community association was created in 2014 as Communaute de communes Luberon Monts de Vaucluse through the merger of the predecessor organizations

With effect from January 1, 2017, the association was expanded to include five municipalities from the dissolved Communauté de communes des Portes du Luberon and raised to the rank of Communauté d'agglomération.
