The Communauté de communes Marches du Velay-Rochebaron is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Haute-Loire department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It was founded on December 16, 2016 and comprises 14 parishes. The administrative seat is in Monistrol-sur-Loire .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes de Rochebaron à Chalencon and Communauté de communes Les Marches du Velay .
