The Monti Sabini ( Sabine Mountains )
The Comunità Montana dei Monti Sabini, Tiburtini, Cornicolani e Prenestini is an association of a total of 18 municipalities in the Italian metropolitan city of Rome . It was formed by the usually quite small communities, which are at least partially in mountain regions, in order to bundle administrative tasks and to strengthen the marketing of the region for tourism. Each municipality is represented by three members of the association's council.
The territory of the Comunità Montana includes the Apennine foothills around the city of Tivoli , which is not itself a member of the association.
