The Conofeeder 200 , partly also referred to as the Army class due to the naming of the ships , is a multi-purpose cargo ship type.
history
The ship type was designed by Conoship International in Groningen . The ship type was developed for use as a container feeder ship . But it can also be used to transport other types of cargo.
A total of eight units of this type of ship were built. Initially, two ships were ordered. The order was repeatedly supplemented by additional ships. The first six units were built at the Tille Scheepsbouw shipyard in Kootstertille, the last two units were built at the Frisian Shipyard in Harlingen . All ships were built for the Dutch shipping company Armawa Shipping and Trading. Between 2003 and 2005 the ships were sold by Armawa Shipping & Trading.

A breakwater is located in front of the hold to protect deck cargo from overflowing water.
The container capacity of the ships is 205 TEU . There is space for 72 TEU in the room and 133 TEU on deck. In the room two layers on top of each other and up to five containers can be loaded next to each other, on deck up to three layers on top of each other and five containers next to each other.
