Consuelo Turetta (born September 7, 1961 in Lozzo Atestino ) is an Italian volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Turetta began her career in 1979 in Noventa Vicentina . From 1983 to 1991 she played for four years in Modena and with Amatori Bari . In 1991 she moved from Bari to the first division club Unibit Roma . In the 1992/93 season, the setter won the CEV Cup with the club, which has now been renamed Fincres Roma . 1994/95 she played with Aster Roma in the second division. In 1996 she returned to the hall and completed another season at Yokohama Montichiari .

Career Beach

Turetta completed her first international beach tournament in 1994 with Annamaria Solazzi in Santos . At their second joint appearance in La Serena , Turetta / Solazzi reached the top ten for the first time in seventh place. At the Open tournaments in Busan and Brisbane in 1995 they came in ninth place. They started 1996 with a 13th place in Rio de Janeiro . They also participated in the Olympic Games in Atlanta in part. There they were defeated in the first game by the later finalists Mônica Rodrigues and Adriana Samuel from Brazil with 15:17. With another defeat against the Norwegian duo Berntsen / Hestad, they were eliminated and finished in 13th place.

Turetta played the remaining two tournaments of the 1996 World Series in Espinho and Ostend with Caterina de Marinis , who had already been her partner at the 1995 Clearwater Open.
