Cow is an alternative country project by indie musicians from Hamburg .
history
The band was formed in 1999 from joint sessions by Peta Devlin ( The bride skin into the eye ), Thomas Wenzel ( Die Sterne , Die Goldenen Zitronen ) and Eckhard "Ecki" Heins (including session musicians at Fink ), who worked under the name Peta Devlin & Band had already been featured on samplers. Together with Thomas Butteweg (formerly Incredible Sinalco Bums ) they renamed themselves Cow, self-published a CD and initially made a name for themselves as a live band with cover versions . In 2002 the first and so far only album was released by Trikont .
