Cressy is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Val-de-Scie with 284 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy (before 2016 Haute-Normandie ). The inhabitants are called Cressois .

On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Cressy merged with Auffay and Sévis to form the Commune nouvelle Val-de-Scie. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Cressy belonged to the Arrondissement Dieppe and the canton of Neufchâtel-en-Bray (until 2015 canton of Bellencombre ).

geography

Cressy is located about 31 kilometers south of Dieppe in the Pays de Caux . The municipality of Cressy was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Auffay in the southwest, Cropus in the northwest, Saint-Hellier in the northeast and Sévis in the south and southeast.
