Cristian Alex da Silva Santos , or simply Cristian or Cristian Alex (born December 1, 1993 in Alfenas ), is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Cristian Alex learned to play football in the youth teams of Grêmio Osasco Audax and Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte in Brazil. At Cruzeiro he played in the U20 team until mid-2013. In July 2013 he moved to Thailand . Here he signed a contract with Phuket FC . The club from Phuket played in the second division, the Thai Premier League Division 1 . In 2015 he went to Europe , where the Portuguese club Marítimo Funchal from Funchal signed him. Here he was used in the B team and in the first team. In August 2015 he went back to Brazil, where he joined the CA Bragantino from Bragança Paulista . He was under contract with Bragantino until the end of November 2015. From December 2015 to mid-February 2016 he was without a contract or association. CA Sorocaba , a club from Sorocaba , signed him until the end of June 2016. Mid-2016 he left Brazil and moved to Lithuania for FC Stumbras . The Kaunas club played in the country's highest league, the A lyga . In 2017 he went to Japan , where Gifu FC signed him. With the club from Gifu Prefecture he played in the second division, he J2 League . In 2018 he moved back to Thailand. Here he signed a contract in Chiangmai with second division Chiangmai FC . For Chiangmai, he played eight games in the first half of the season. The return series in 2018 he played at JL Chiangmai United FC , a club that played in the third division, Thai League 3 , in the upper region. With the club he became champions and thus rose to the second division. After promotion he left the club and joined the second division club Khon Kaen FC from Khon Kaen . After the series, his contract was not extended. He has been without a contract or a club since mid-2019.
