Cyrill Bühler (born November 4, 1983 in Zurich ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player who was active for the Kloten Flyers and ZSC Lions in the Swiss National League A for many years .
Career
Cyrill Bühler began his career as an ice hockey player with the Kloten Flyers , for which he played in the National League A for a total of seven years from 2001 to 2008 . He had previously been active in the junior division at the Flyers. In the summer of 2008, the attacker switched to Kloten's league rivals, the ZSC Lions , with whom he won the first edition of the Champions Hockey League in the 2008/09 season . Bühler contributed three goals to the success in six games. In January 2013 he signed a contract with his home club, which was valid from the 2013/14 season.
After the 2014/15 season he ended his career after 604 NLA games due to shoulder problems.
International
For Switzerland , Bühler took part in the 2001 U18 Junior World Championship and the 2003 U20 Junior World Championship . At the U18 World Cup, he and his team won the silver medal.
