Demons from Space is an Italian science fiction film directed by Antonio Margheriti , which he made in 1967 under his pseudonym Anthony Dawson .

In the distant future: In the Himalayas , a research station discovers an unexpectedly high rise in temperature. Shortly afterwards, the base is attacked and Lt. Jim Harris abducted. There are rumors of yetis .
Commander Rod Jackson is called back from vacation. With the help of the local tourist guide Sharu, he and his team want to go to the station. But the jet is sabotaged and explodes before his eyes. Instead, the team now has to make their way over the arduous mountain on foot with equipment racks. Suddenly he discovers Lisa Nielson, the girlfriend of Lt. Jim Harris, convinced that her boyfriend is still alive. She stays on the team despite all warnings. The local helpers disappear overnight and only five people continue to the station. There they are attacked and captured by a horde of Yetis.
It turns out that the Yetis are actually aliens from the planet Aytin. These live in very low temperatures below freezing. Since their home planet is facing disaster, they have decided to turn the earth into an ice desert . To do this, they want to first melt the polar ice caps and then freeze the earth. Commander Jackson and his team will become Lt. Jim Harris brought and they are held captive, but they manage to escape through an air shaft and they can overwhelm the aliens.
But the invasion continues. Commander Jackson is sent on a space mission to the alien base. At first the protective shields are too strong and the commander's fleet experiences severe losses. But then the team succeeds in directing comets to the base of the aliens. So they finally defeat the alien invaders.

The film is the fourth installment in the Gamma One series of films directed by Antonio Margheriti and the second with the character Commander Jackson, played by Giacomo Rossi Stuart . The other titles are:

The four films in the tetralogy were staged at the same time with a fixed budget.
In Germany, the film was released in the trash collection of cmv-Laservision . On Blu-Ray , X-Rated took care of the distribution in their Eurotrash collection. In 2016 it was broadcast on Tele 5 as part of the SchleFaZ film series by Oliver Kalkofe and Peter Rütten .

The film magazine Cinema gave an editorial rating of one (out of five possible) stars and described the film as "[completely] oily irradiated [n] sci-fi nonsense".
