The Dürnbach is an Upper Bavarian mountain stream that flows into the Festenbach .

Its sources - the source area is also known as Dürnbachlüß - are located west of the Tegernsee on the northern slope below the Nesselscheibe , the Holzer-Alm and the Jägerstiegl at about 1180 meters above sea level. NN It flows past the Tegernsee, with whose water it only joins over the Festenbach, which flows into the Mangfall, which flows out of the Tegernsee .

Before the Dürnbach leaves the forest , a forest road runs parallel to the stream . The stream runs over grassland and partly swampy terrain south of the Schneiderhäusel district. A little to the north of it, the Dicklohbächlein joins the Dürnbach on the left. The stream then flows north of the Kaltenbrunner Eck to Finsterwald, where it crosses State Road 2365. Between Dürnbach and Finsterwald, the brook also crosses the railway tracks on the shaftlach-Tegernsee line. After crossing the federal road 318 , the stream runs along the state road 2365 to the Gmund district of Festenbach, where it flows into the Festenbach .

In addition to the Dicklohbächlein, the Dürnbach has several small tributaries. The Dürnbach is partially straightened and installed .
