Emergence

The album was recorded in 2000 with numerous producers, in addition to Jonas Berggren and Ulf Ekberg, Chief 1, Axel Breit , Nicklas von der Burg, Thorsten Brötzmann, Håkan Christoffersson, Martin Hedström, Kay Nickold, Nick Nice, Harry Sommerdahl, Pontus Söderqvist and Jeo. The second single, The Juvenile , is a remake of a song the group recorded for the 1995 James Bond GoldenEye soundtrack . However, this song was preferred to Tina Turner's theme song.

Reviews

The Allmusic website gave the album three and a half stars out of five. Jon O'Brian called it, because it was the last album with the singers Linn and Jenny Berggren , as "final swan song for original vocalists Linn and Jenny, but while it undeniably sounds like it's stuck in a mid-'90s time warp, It's a consistently feel-good affair ensuring that the pair went out on a high. ". Laut.de marked it as "inconsequential off the shelf" and only gave it one of five stars.

Charts and chart placements

Da Capo could not repeat the success of its predecessors and only reached middle chart positions in most countries. In Germany the album came to number 48, in Austria to number 61 and in Switzerland to number 23 in the charts. In the UK it could not even be placed, in the USA it did not even appear.
