Dagmar Laurens

Dagmar Laurens (born March 7, 1940 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

From 1959 to 1962 Dagmar Laurens completed an acting training at the drama school of the Theater der Keller in Cologne . At the beginning of her career as an actress there were theater engagements .

Laurens was a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Lübeck from 1968 to 2005 . During this time Dagmar Laurens played numerous roles in both classical and modern theater literature. Laurens had her first role at Theater Lübeck in the play The Play of Love and Chance ( Le Jeu de l'amour et du hasard ) by Pierre Marivaux . From the role of adolescent lover, she later switched to dramatic female roles. Most recently she played character and mother roles there. Laurens was seen at the Lübeck Theater in 1991 as Frau Alving in Gespenster and in 1990 as Elisabeth von England in Maria Stuart . In the 1990s she starred in stage versions of Angst essen Seele (1998; as cleaning lady Emmi) and Misery (1997; as Annie). In the last years of her engagement Laurens appeared there in the title role of Mother Courage by Bertolt Brecht (1997), as Golde in the musical Anatevka (2000), as Mother in Blood Wedding (2000), as Ms. Marthe Rull in Der zerbrochne Krug (2005 ) and as a mother in Am Ziel (2005).

Laurens had her first television roles as early as the 1960s, mostly in television plays and in theater films . It was not until the 1990s that other television roles were added relatively late.

Became famous for Laurens particular through its continuous series role in the ZDF - TV series Girlfriends , where from 1995 to 2003 together with Mariele Millowitsch and Walter Sittler played. In it she played the role of Elisabeth Harsefeld, the mother of the female lead actress Marie Malek. In 1998 Laurens took on the lead role alongside Klausjürgen Wussow in the television film Wiedersehen in Palma , a spin-off of the series . From July 2008 Dagmar Laurens was in the lead role of Ruth Vollmer in the WDR television series Die Anrheiner in front of the camera.

She also had episode roles in the television series Notruf Hafenkante (2008; as a pensioner Mrs. Wittich), cheerful to fatal: Morden im Norden (2012; as an old midwife Margarethe Oderwald), Rote Rosen (2012; as an old, former nanny Dora), Sibel & Max (2015; as an old lady) and Die Pfefferkörner (2015; as a pensioner Mrs. Lorenz).

In March 2016 Laurens was seen in a supporting role in the ZDF series SOKO Wismar ; she played the pensioner Sybille Fürstenberg, who was the victim of a so-called " grandchild's trick ".

Laurens lives in Lübeck .
