Dahlinghausen is one of the 17 districts of the municipality of Bad Essen in the district of Osnabrück in Lower Saxony with around 510 inhabitants.

Dahlhausen is located on the B 65 about six kilometers east of Bad Essen and two kilometers northwest of Preußisch Oldendorf directly on the state border with North Rhine-Westphalia .

history

On December 1, 1910, the place had 341 inhabitants. On July 1, 1972, the municipality , which had previously been part of the Wittlage district, was incorporated into the new municipality of Bad Essen as part of the regional reform .
