Hördinghausen is one of the 17 districts of the municipality of Bad Essen in the district of Osnabrück in Lower Saxony with around 380 inhabitants.

Hördinghausen is located on the B 65 about five kilometers east of Bad Essen and three kilometers northwest of Preußisch Oldendorf .
history
Hördinghausen was first mentioned in a document in 969 under the name Ordinchusen . On December 1, 1910, the place had 374 inhabitants. On July 1, 1972, the municipality , which had previously been part of the Wittlage district, was incorporated into the new municipality of Bad Essen as part of the regional reform .
