Daiane Rodrigues (born July 22, 1986 in São Carlos ) is a Brazilian soccer player . She is not to be confused with the national player Daiane "Bagé" Rodrigues .

Career

society

Daiane began her career in the youth sports promotion of the city of Araraquara and then played for a team from the city of Franca in the state championship of São Paulo. In 2009 she returned to Araraquara to play again for the local women's team, which has since been integrated into the traditional club Ferroviária . After a renewed engagement in Franca from 2011 to 2012, she advanced from the 2013 season to captain of the successful women's team of Ferroviária, which led her to the Brazilian double and to win the Copa Libertadores.

For the 2017 season, Daiane switched to the club cooperative of SC Corinthians and Grêmio Osasco Audax . For the former club, she ran in the Série A1 2017 and the state championship. In the jersey of Audax, she took part in the competition for the Copa Libertadores in Paraguay , which she was able to win a second time.

At the beginning of 2018, Daiane announced her move to Portugal , where she will play for the newly founded women's team at Benfica Lisbon in the 2018/19 season . In the first half of 2018, she completed several assignments for SC Internacional in the Brazilian second division.

National team

In 2006 Daiane was part of the U-20 selection of the Brazilian women's national team , with which she won the South American Championship in Chile and took part in the World Cup in Russia .

At thirty-one, Daiane played her first appearances for the national team's senior squad in the two friendly matches against Chile on November 25 and 28, 2017 . She was substituted on for Leticia Santos in both games .
