Dalarö is a crime scene on the island of the same name in the municipality of Haninge in Stockholm County , Sweden , with 1849 inhabitants (2015).

Dalarö has served as the gateway to the state capital since the Middle Ages. Dalarö is located about 20 kilometers south-east of Stockholm in the metropolitan region of Stor- (Greater) Stockholm on the Baltic Sea and is used by the capital city as a resort. The island is separated from the mainland in the west by a 10-30 meter wide, west-east running natural canal and connected to it by a bridge on the "Dalarövägen".

From the Dalarö Bridge there is regular ferry service to Utö and Ornö , the largest island in the southern Stockholm archipelago .
