Dallmin is a district of the municipality of Karstädt in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .
geography
The place is 5 kilometers north-northeast of Karstädt and 15 kilometers north-northwest of Perleberg . The neighboring towns are Margarethental in the north, Karwe in the northeast, Kribbe in the east, Wittmoor and Tiefenthal in the southeast, Postlin in the southwest, Bootz in the west and Streesow in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of Dallmin comes from the year 1239. In it the place was recorded under "Hinricus Dalemin".
Before 1816 the place belonged to the district of Perleberg in the province of Prignitz ; part of the Kurmark of the Mark Brandenburg and then came to the Westprignitz district . From 1952 Dallmin belonged to the Perleberg district in the Schwerin district . In 1992 the municipality of Dallmin joined the newly formed Karstädt Office and in 1993 became part of what is now the Prignitz district.
The previously independent community of Dallmin was incorporated into Karstädt on December 31, 2001.
