Damian Dalu
Damian Dalu (born April 26, 1955 in Kiponzelo , Tanzania ) is a Tanzanian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Songea .
Life
Damian Dalu received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Geita on November 15, 1984 .
On April 14, 2000, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Geita. The Archbishop of Dar es Salaam , Polycarp Cardinal Pengo , donated him episcopal ordination on July 30 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Iringa , Tarcisius Ngalalekumtwa , and the Bishop of Shinyanga , Aloysius Balina .
Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Songea on March 14, 2014 . The inauguration took place on May 18 of the same year.
