Damien Raux (born November 3, 1984 in Rouen ) is a French ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Scorpions de Mulhouse in the Ligue Magnus since 2012 .

Career

Damien Raux began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth division of the Dragons de Rouen , for whose professional team he made his debut in the 2002/03 season in the top French league and with which he made his first attempt French champion became. After another year in Rouen, he moved to the Chamois de Chamonix for the 2004/05 season within the Ligue Magnus . There he stayed for a year as well as afterwards with the Drakkars de Caen and his hometown club Dragons de Rouen.

From 2007 to 2011 Raux was under contract with the Diables Rouges de Briançon , with whom he won the Coupe de France , the national cup competition, in 2010. The 2011/12 season began for the national player with the Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble , but after only three games he moved to league rivals Ducs d'Angers . In the summer of 2012 he joined the newly promoted Scorpions de Mulhouse .

International

For France , Raux took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championships in Division II in 2002 and the U20 World Junior Championships in Division I in 2003 and 2004 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 and 2012 World Championships .
