Daniel Ernemann (born February 18, 1976 in Amberg ) is a German soccer coach and former soccer player .

Career

As a player

Ernemann started playing soccer in the youth department of 1. FC Amberg and continued in the youth departments of Holstein Kiel and SG Quelle Fürth . For the 1996/97 season he moved up to the first team of the Fürth and was used in the fourth-class Regionalliga Süd in 26 league games. With the relegation of his team at the end of the season he was in the summer of 1997 by Bayern Munich for the amateur team committed. After two seasons and 31 point games in the Regionalliga Süd, he moved to league rivals FC Augsburg , for whom he played 23 of 34 point games in the 1999/2000 season and scored one goal. As eighth of the past season, his team had to be relegated because they did not receive a license for the following season.

He then moved to 1. FC Union Berlin , with whom he was promoted to the 2. Bundesliga at the end of the 2000/01 season and advanced to the DFB Cup finals; this was lost on May 26, however, with 0-2 against FC Schalke 04 . At international club level, he played with the Berliners in the UEFA Cup competition in three matches (twice against Haka Valkeakoski , once against Litex Lovetsch ) over 90 minutes each. After 1. FC Union Berlin had to be relegated to the Regionalliga Nord at the end of the 2003/04 season as 17th in the ranking , he moved to the Austrian second division club SC Austria Lustenau , for whom he played until the end of the 2005/06 season.

In the summer of 2006 he returned to Germany and joined the second division relegated Dynamo Dresden . At the beginning of May 2008 he announced that he would return to SC Austria Lustenau, where he received a contract valid until June 30, 2010. After he had become coach of the amateurs after the end of his contract, he moved back into the squad of the professional team on March 11, 2011 (24th matchday) and was in the 1-1 draw in the away game against TSV Hartberg in the 77th minute for Sabri Vural substituted on.

As a trainer

From the summer of 2010 he was the player- coach of the second team of SC Austria Lustenau, with which he became national league champion in 2011 and thus managed to return to the Vorarlbergliga . In 2012 he was managing director of the club, and in 2015 he was again coach of the second team.

In March 2017, he became the first team's interim coach. He was out of the question as head coach because he only holds the UEFA B license. On September 22nd, 2017, Ernemann, who was previously assistant coach, had to step in again as interim coach after Andreas Lipa was dismissed .

In April 2018 Ernemann returned to Germany and became an employee of VfL Wolfsburg , where he was responsible for the club's international projects. In January 2019 he moved back to Austria and has been the team manager of the Austrian second division club FC Liefering ever since .
