Daniela Janjic

Daniela Janjic (* 1984 in Mostar ) is a Swiss author .

Life

Daniela Janjic grew up in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sweden and has lived in Switzerland since 1993 . After graduating from high school (2004), she began studying German at the University of Zurich , then, after passing the entrance exam, switched to the Bern University of the Arts to study literary writing at the Swiss Literature Institute . As part of the Dramenprozessor authors' workshop at the Theater an der Winkelwiese in Zurich , where she also worked several times as an assistant director, her first play Yellow Days was selected for the premiere. The play was invited to the 4th weekend of young drama at the Münchner Kammerspiele . This was followed by participation in the “ World Interplay ” in Townsville / Queensland, Australia, and the workshop days at the Burgtheater Vienna . After completing her bachelor's degree at the Swiss Literature Institute, she studied scenic writing at the Berlin University of the Arts from 2010 to 2012 .
