Daniele Grassi (born January 27, 1993 in Bellinzona ) is a Swiss ice hockey player . The attacker has been part of SC Bern's squad since the beginning of the 2018/19 season .

Player career

Grassi learned to play ice hockey in the youth department of HC Ambrì-Piotta . During the 2010/11 season he received his first minutes of action in Ambrì's men's team in the National League A (NLA) and became the pillar of the team in the years to come.

On December 23, 2015, Ambrì's NLA competitor EHC Kloten announced that they had signed Grassi from the 2016/17 season. In spring 2018 he was relegated with Kloten from the national league, previously the team had played 56 years in the country's highest league. In the 2018/19 season he moved to SC Bern .

National team

Grassi represented Switzerland in the U16, U17, U18 and U20 age groups at international level.
