Tristan Scherwey (born May 7, 1991 in Wünnewil-Flamatt ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has played for SC Bern in the National League since 2009 and won the Swiss championship five times .
Career
Tristan Scherwey, who played in the position of winger, played for Friborg-Gottéron in his youth before moving to SC Bern as a junior player . He made his professional debut in the 2008-09 season for the Young-Sprinters Hockey Club in the National League B . During the 2009/10 season , the attacker firing on the left completed his first NLA missions for SC Bern. In the same season Scherwey won the Swiss championship with the city Berners . In the summer of 2012 he extended his contract with SC Bern until the end of the 2014/15 season. In April 2013 Scherwey won his second and in April 2016 his third championship with the SCB. In February 2019, his contract, which ran until 2020, was prematurely extended by seven years to 2027.
International
For Switzerland , Scherwey took part in the U18 Junior World Championships 2009 and the U20 Junior World Championships in 2010 and 2011 . He was first nominated for the senior squad in February 2013. However, he did not play his first major international tournaments until five years later with the 2018 Winter Olympics and the 2018 World Cup .
