Dario Damjanović (born July 23, 1981 in Gradačac , Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian football player .
Career
Damjanović played in his youth at the Bosnian FK Borac Šamac and in the meantime went to Serbia for half a year to the Belgrade club Radnički Obrenovac. In early 2001 he moved to the Bosnian second division club FK Modriča Maxima , with whom he rose to the top division in the country in 2003.
The following year he was signed by the traditional Croatian club Hajduk Split , with which he was national champion in his first year. The midfielder played 81 games in three and a half years on the Adriatic coast, then he accepted an offer from the Russian first division and went to Lutsch-Energija Vladivostok . However, at the end of the season in December 2008, the club was on a relegation zone and also had economic problems, so the Bosnian was given up again and signed by the German second division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern . At the end of the 2009/10 season he was informed by the club that he had no place in the squad planning for the 2010/11 season . Then he did not change the club, but played a year in the second team of the Palatinate, so that he was without a contract at the end of the season. In August 2011 Damjanović completed a trial training at FC Hansa Rostock , but was not signed. He then moved to the Premijer Liga for NK Čelik Zenica for a year .
As a teenager, Dario Damjanović played for the Bosnian U-21 team . He also made the leap into the senior team , in which he is regularly used.
