Dario Rodriguez (born May 27, 1991 in Herford ; real name Dario Schürmann ) is a German DJ and music producer from Bielefeld . He has been active in the field of bass and electro house under his current pseudonym since the end of the 2000s . As a DJ he has performed at the New Horizons Festival and the World Club Dome .

Career

After completing secondary school, Dario Rodriguez completed a three-year training as an event manager . At the same time he started to organize his own parties as a DJ. Between 2011 and 2013 he produced his first own songs together with the German DJ Miss Kiyami, through which a contact with the Cologne DJ David Puentez came about. This contributed a remix for the single What the Fuck , which was released on the record label Bikini Records. In the following years there were repeated collaborations with Puentez for various remixes.

In 2014 he and David Puentez released a remix of the song Daylight by Danish DJ Kid Massive and Swedish producer WeSmile, which attracted the attention of musicians such as Alesso , Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso . While he appeared for the first time at major festivals in the following years, his songs were sometimes played on the stages of Tomorrowland , Coachella Festival or the Ultra Music Festival .

In 2016 he produced the track Beat Black together with the American rapper Mr. V , which reached a total of over 2 million plays on the Spotify streaming platform . Rodriguez then released the single Smackdown on the label "Playbox Music" by the German DJ duo Twoloud , which was played for the first time by the Dutch DJ and producer Hardwell .

After working with producers like Fedde Le Grand or Topic several times in previous years and having published his songs on record companies like Strictly Rhythm or Le Grands Darklight Recordings , Rodriguez founded his own record label "Inferiae Records" as a subsidiary of Swutch Music GmbH in July 2019 ". Shortly thereafter, the singles Hyphy and Supernova appeared on this .
