The malicious game of Dr. Fu Man Chu is a 1980 comedy film . It will be the last film by actors Peter Sellers and David Tomlinson . The British - American co-production was released in German cinemas on December 19, 1980.

Dr. Fu Man Chu is celebrating his 168th birthday. But when he tries to take a potion that is supposed to prolong his life, one of his servants spills it by accident. He doesn't have much time to get the ingredients for a new potion. Since the ingredients also include parts of the English crown treasure, he comes into conflict with the police. She seeks advice from the retired Inspector Nayland Smith, an old adversary of Fu Man Chu.

The film ends with Dr. Fu Man Chu creates a new elixir of life that not only extends his life, but also rejuvenates him. The FBI and Scotland Yard representatives get the stolen items back.

  • Richard Quine directed the preproduction . When shooting began, this part was taken over by Piers Haggard , who was then replaced by Peter Sellers during production.
