The Datong Autonomous County of the Hui and Tu ( 大通 回族 土族 自治县 , Dàtōng Huízú Tǔzú Zìzhìxiàn ) is an autonomous district of the Hui and Tu , which belongs to the prefecture-level city of Xining (Tibetan Ziling), the capital of the Chinese province of Qinghai . It has an area of ​​3,090 km² and has about 430,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Qiaotou (桥头 镇).
