The Datsun 220 was a flatbed truck manufactured by Nissan in Japan from 1957 to 1961. He was the successor to the Datsun 120 .

The car was powered by a four-cylinder OHV in-line engine, type C, with 988 cm³ displacement, which delivered an output of 37 bhp (27 kW). The engine power was transmitted to the rear wheels via a four-speed gearbox with a steering wheel.

In 1959 he was given the Datsun 222 , which received a bored-out engine, Type E, with 1189 cm³, which made 48 bhp (35 kW). In the final year of production, 1961, the Datsun 223 came , which had an improved 1.2-liter engine, type E-1, that delivered 60 bhp (44 kW).

From 1961 it was replaced by the larger, more modern Datsun 320 , which still had the engine of the 223.
