The Datsun GO + was presented to the world for the first time on September 17, 2013 in Jakarta . The minivan is based on the Datsun GO and was specially developed by Datsun for Indonesia . In addition to the GO, the GO + will be built in the Indonesian Nissan plant in Purwakarta 80 km east of Jakarta and will be available in Indonesia from 2014.

Model history and technology

The GO + is slightly longer than the GO with the same wheelbase, and the height and width are unchanged. The technology was also taken over from the GO and the GO + is therefore also powered by the 1.2 liter petrol engine known from the Nissan Micra . A 5-speed manual transmission transmits the power to the front wheels. In addition to the standard 5 seats, the GO + offers an additional row of foldable seats in the trunk, which means that a maximum of 7 people can be transported. A docking station should enable connection to a smartphone , otherwise the GO + only has the most essential equipment. Like the GO, the GO + is said to cost less than 100 million Indonesian rupiah .

Transporter version "Datsun Panel Van"

In South Africa, Datsun offers a variant of the Go + under the name “Panel Van”. This dispenses with the second and third row of seats in favor of a large loading compartment. This results in a load volume of 3400 liters.
