Daumeray is a former French commune with 1,537 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Tiercé (until 2015: Canton Durtal ). The inhabitants are called Daumeréens .

On January 1, 2017, Morannes-sur-Sarthe was merged with the Daumeray commune to form the Commune nouvelle Morannes sur Sarthe-Daumeray , in which Daumeray has the status of a commune déléguée . The administrative seat is in Morannes.

Daumeray is located about 29 kilometers north-northeast of Angers in the Baugeois .
