Morannes sur Sarthe Daumeray is a French commune with 3,664 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Tiercé .

It was created with effect from January 1, 2017 as Commune nouvelle from the merger of the municipalities of Morannes-sur-Sarthe and Daumeray , of which only Daumeray received the status of a Commune déléguée . The administrative seat is in Morannes.

As early as January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Morannes and Chemiré-sur-Sarthe were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Morannes-sur-Sarthe . Chemiré-sur-Sarthe already had the status of a Commune déléguée in this municipality and will retain this status even after the final merger.

Morannes sur Sarthe-Daumeray is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Denis-d'Anjou in the north, Précigné in the north and northeast, Notre-Dame-du-Pé in the east and northeast, Durtal in the east and southeast, Huillé-Lézigné in the southeast, Baracé in the south, Tiercé in the south and south-west, Étriché in the south-west and Les Hauts d'Anjou in the west.
