David Corrêa da Fonseca , called David , (born October 17, 1995 in Vitória , ES ) is a Brazilian soccer player . David's strong foot is the right one. He is mainly used as an attacking midfielder , alternatively he is also set up as an outside midfielder on the right or left.

David started his career in the junior division of the EC Vitória . At the club, he made the leap into the professional squad in 2015. In the Copa do Nordeste , David will play his first professional game on March 19, 2015. In the home game he was substituted on in the 79th minute. In the Brazilian championship, David competed in Série B for the first time in the 2015 season . In the away game against Botafogo FR in Rio de Janeiro on May 30, 2015, the fourth matchday of the season, David was substituted on in the 67th minute. David also scored his first professional goal in the championship round. After being substituted on in the 58th minute, he scored the only goal of the game in the 61st minute in the away game against Paraná Clube on July 11, 2015 . At the end of the season Vitória was able to rise to the Série A as third in the table . In the 2016 season , David played his first game in the top Brazilian division. In January 2018 David moved to Cruzeiro EC in Belo Horizonte for 2.5 million euros (approx. 9.75 million Brazilian reals ) . For payment of the transfer fee, an installment of 1.5 million euros (5.85 million real), which was payable immediately, and another on February 20 of the year in the amount of 1 million euros (3.9 million real ). Cruzeiro acquired 70% of the transfer rights to David. Cruzeiro took over the player despite the fact that he had a right thigh injury from his time at Vitória. On April 22, 2018, the second matchday of the 2018 championship round , David played his first league game for Cruzeiro . In the away game against Fluminense Rio de Janeiro , he came on after the half-time break for Lucas Silva . He scored his first goal Raposa on the 34th day of the season. In the home game on November 14, 2018 against Corinthians São Paulo , David scored the only goal of the game after submission by Fred in the 14th minute.

After descending from Cruzeiro at the end of season 2019 in the Série B , David gained by commencing an action and its release moved to Fortaleza EC .
