David Douglas Crosby OMI (born June 28, 1949 in Marathon ) is Bishop of Hamilton .

Life

David Douglas Crosby joined the Order of the Oblates (OMI) , made profession on September 16, 1973, and was ordained a priest on September 27, 1975 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Labrador City-Schefferville on October 24, 1997 . The episcopal ordination donated him the Archbishop of Keewatin-Le Pas , Peter Alfred Sutton OMI, on January 2 of the next year; Co- consecrators were Pierre Morissette , Bishop of Baie-Comeau , and Raymond John Lahey , Bishop of St. George's .

He was named bishop of St. George's on August 6, 2003, and from 2007 by Corner Brook and Labrador. He was named Bishop of Hamilton on September 24, 2010, and was introduced to the office on November 8 of the same year.
