David Earl Garrison (born June 30, 1952 in Long Branch , New Jersey , USA ) is an American actor .

Career

Garrison came to fame as Al Bundy's neighbor Steve Rhoades on the sitcom A Terribly Nice Family . He played this role for the first four seasons as well as a guest appearance in a few later episodes of the series.

David Garrison attended the School of Fine Arts and the School of Theater Arts at Boston University . He began his acting career at the Arena Stage in Washington, DC and was nominated for several awards during his theater career, including the Tony Award .
