David Jansen (born December 4, 1987 in Würselen ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
His career began in 2001 with the SC Freiburg youth team . From there he moved to FSV Oggersheim for the 2005/06 season . For Ludwigshafen he scored four goals in 31 games.
After two years at FSV, Jansen moved to the regional division SV Elversberg . In his first year he played 22 games in which Jansen scored two goals. In his second year he was mainly used in the reserve team, so he played only one game with the first team. In the reserve team he scored one goal in 17 games.
For the 2009/10 season he moved to the Regionalliga Nord for Chemnitzer FC, which was downgraded by one class due to the introduction of the 3rd division . There Jansen scored eleven goals in 30 games.
After only one year with Chemnitzer FC, Jansen signed a two-year contract with SC Paderborn 07 . He played his first game for the new employer on August 27, 2010 when he was defeated away from FC Augsburg when he came on for Rolf-Christel Guié-Mien in the 87th minute .
In January 2012 he moved to the third division Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , where he received a contract until mid-2013. Since the contract in Oberhausen was only valid for the third division , Jansen moved to Chemnitzer FC for the 2012/13 season , where he had already played in the 2009/10 season . After the season he went back to Oberhausen. In the winter break of 2016 he joined the league competitor FC Viktoria Köln . In the 2016/17 season he won the Regionalliga West championship with Viktoria.
In July 2017 he moved to the regional division Rot-Weiss Essen . Jansen ended his career after the 2018/19 season.
