David Kyle Logan (born December 26, 1982 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American - Polish basketball player .
Career
Logan began his career at the University of Indianapolis in the NCAA . In 2005 he was not selected after his graduation in the " Entry Draft " of the highest endowed US professional league NBA and therefore signed his first professional contract in Europe with Nuova Pallacanestro Pavia in Italy , which was terminated in December 2005. After further positions at Hapoel MB9 Ramat HaSharon and the NBDL team of Fort Worth Flyers , he moved to Starogard Gdański in Poland in 2007 . Further changes within the Polish league to Turów Zgorzelec and Asseco Prokom Gdynia let him play four seasons in Poland. During this period he made his debut in Europe's highest international club competitions (2007 in the ULEB Cup and 2008 in the ULEB Euroleague ) and acquired Polish citizenship . In 2009 and 2010 he won the first professional title of his career with the Polish championship. After a season in Spain with Caja Laboral, Logan moved to Greece in 2011 to the reigning Euroleague winner Panathinaikos Athens . For the 2012/2013 season Logan moved to Israel to Maccabi Tel Aviv. There he was again able to draw attention to himself in the Euroleague. For the 2013/2014 season Logan moved to Germany. He signed a contract with Alba Berlin . After a year in Berlin, he moved to the Italian first division club Dinamo Basket Sassari.
National team
In 2009 Logan took part with the Polish national team in the European Championship in their own country and reached the intermediate round there. In six encounters Logan averaged 15.5 points and gave 4.5 assists .
