Davud Tuma (born May 16, 1996 in Gütersloh ) is a German football player .

Career

After starting out as a youth at FC Gütersloh , he moved to Arminia Bielefeld's youth department in summer 2015 . In summer 2015 he moved to the Regionalliga West . At the beginning of 2017 he moved on to the Regionalliga Nordost for FC Carl Zeiss Jena . With his new club he made it to the 3rd division at the end of the 2016/17 season . He made his first professional appearance on matchday 1 in the 0-1 away defeat against SV Wehen Wiesbaden , when he came on for Matthias Kühne in the 69th minute .

In the summer of 2019, Chemnitzer FC announced Tuma's commitment.

Trivia

In January 2016, Tuma used the opportunity opened by the German authorities to discard the forcibly assigned Turkish surname Gügör and reassume his original, Aramaic surname Tuma.
