Dead Presidents , and Dead Presidents - The road to hell is an American action - thriller from 1995. Directed led the brothers Albert and Allen Hughes , who were also involved in the story of the film and worked as a producer. The main roles were played by Larenz Tate , Keith David and Chris Tucker .

In 1968, Anthony Curtis, an 18-year-old African-American from the Bronx who recently graduated from high school , signed up for military service in Vietnam with his two friends, José and Skip . He returns to his home country three years later. There he has to find out that he is not treated as a hero . Rather, he is losing his job so that he cannot give his daughter the support he would like to give her.

Anthony, Skip, José and Anthony's close friend Kirby and their new acquaintances Delilah and Cleon want revenge. They plan to rob an armored van and rob the Brooklyn Federal Reserve Bank . But the coup goes wrong: the van explodes, José and Delilah are shot in an exchange of fire with the police . Anthony, Kirby and Cleon are arrested and Skip dies of a heroin overdose in his apartment .
