action

Yoshikatsu Sanada, head of the powerful Sanada Syndicate, is assassinated by members of the rival Otaki Association. His foster son and loyal subordinate Kunisada vows to take deadly revenge, but the new leader of the honorable Sanada group, Kugihara, wants to avoid bloody gang wars and start peace negotiations. A ceasefire is soon negotiated through the mediation of the neutral Bando clan. The easily irritable, impatient Kunisada can not accept the moderate course of his yakuza superiors, but initially remains passive.

In an opaque plot by the yakuza giants to power and maintain it, Kunisada will eventually become the pawn of its own syndicate. Assuming that he is starting a bloody campaign of revenge, he kills on orders from Iguchi, Kugihara's right hand man, the aging godfather of the opposing clan: Otaki. However, the attack is part of a secret conspiracy by the yakuza groups, with Kugihara himself working with the former adversaries. The uncontrollable confidante Kunisada stands in the way of possible agreements; he is made an apostate. From now on, armed bands of killers seek his life.

Meanwhile, Kunisada realizes that he was abused as a figure of intrigue in a treacherous game. With the support of his loyal Yakuza brother Shimatani, the blond-colored gangster initially organizes weapons. Then he starts a merciless two-man revenge campaign with his henchman. The two kill a large number of their opponents until they are caught by two assassins . The film ends in the middle of a firefight, although the outcome of the shooting remains unclear.
