Dehinghausen is one of a total of ten districts of the city of Waldeck in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in northern Hesse .

geography

Dehringhausen lies in a valley basin open to the west on a hill, dominated by the church in the middle of fields and meadows, surrounded by wooded heights. The country road 3083 from Freienhagen to Korbach leads through the village.

history

The place is mentioned for the first time in 1352 because of a dispute between the residents and the Netze monastery .

On January 1, 1974, until then independent municipality Dehringhausen was in the course of administrative reform in Hesse powerful state law in the city Waldeck incorporated . For Dehringhausen, as for all parts of the city, a local district with a local advisory board and local councilor was established.
