Denis Kiwanuka plumb bobs
Denis Kiwanuka Lote (born March 25, 1938 in Pallisa ) is a Ugandan clergyman and retired Archbishop of Tororo .
Life
Denis Kiwanuka Lote was ordained a priest on December 19, 1965 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Kotido on May 20, 1991 .
He was ordained bishop by the Archbishop of Kampala , Emmanuel Wamala , on August 18 of the same year; Co- consecrators were James Odongo , Military Bishop of Uganda and Bishop of Tororo, and Paul Lokiru Kalanda , Bishop of Fort Portal .
He was appointed Archbishop of Tororo on June 27, 2007 and was introduced to the office on September 14 of the same year.
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on January 2, 2014.
