The film advocates the conspiracy theory that President Barack Obamas was installed by a globalization- friendly power elite of Wall Street bankers and international corporations to establish a “ New World Order ” in which the national sovereignty of the United States and the individual freedom of its citizens would be abolished . To this end, Jones works out the close ties between the Obama administration and the financial world and lists numerous broken election promises of Obama. He did not end the policies of his predecessor George W. Bush , but even tightened them, for example with regard to the Patriot Act , the use of torture or the imprisonment of terrorist suspects in Guantanamo without trial . The first part of the film explains that President Obama would have violated Article 1, Paragraph 9 of the US Constitution , since he took over the chairmanship of the UN Security Council for the first time in history . The film sees this as Obama's first staging as president of the world . In the second part, Jones examines the NAFTA Free Trade Agreement and global warming , which he believes is a myth that was invented for the purpose of raising new taxes. He predicts the bankruptcy of the entire American economy, which will pave the way for the conspirators' allegedly sought-after global single currency and an associated World Bank. As a symbol of this threatening alienation and enslavement, Jones shows the blue glow of the television screen , which he contrasts with positive childhood memories of barbecues with the family or baseball games with the neighbors.
