The Pedosexual Complex - Handbook for Affected Persons and their Opponents is a compilation of the social and legal framework for sexual acts with minors that is subject to falsification allegations. It was published in 1988 by the later professor of sociology Joachim Stephan Hohmann (1953–1999) under the pseudonym Angelo Leopardi. In contrast to the scientific nomenclature, the book title does not comply with the important distinction between pederasty and pedophilia on the one hand, in which the coveted object is in the prepubertal stage, and on the other hand the affection for adolescents described under ephebophilia . The distinction, which is often blurred in public, is of great importance in both sexology and criminological terms.

Two authors, Volker Beck and Volkmar Sigusch , accused the editor of having falsified the contributions attributed to them or of having invented an interview that was never given.

The work is divided into four sections:

Chapter "Change the criminal law? Plea for a realistic reorientation of sexual politics "

With the indication of Volker Beck as the author, the article “Changing the criminal law? Plea for a realistic reorientation of sexual policy ”on the question of the decriminalization of pedosexuality (pages 255 to 268). According to the publisher, Beck's contribution is “from the perspective of the gay politician” and represents the “view of the sex politician”.
