Detlev von Revenfeld

Detlev von Revenfeld (Danish Ditlev Revenfeld , born March 4, 1684 at Sandbjerg Castle , † July 18, 1746 in Rendsburg ) was a lieutenant general in the Danish-Norwegian service.

Family and origin

Detlev von Revenfeld was one of the three illegitimate children of Conrad von Reventlow (1644–1708) with Anne Christine Hagensen (1659–1691), daughter of the mayor of Aabenraa , Carsten Hagensen (1626–1701). He had the younger siblings Conrad (1685–?) And Conradine (1687–1770) and eighteen half siblings. On December 5, 1718, he married Anna Cathrine Woldenberg († 1751) in Hamburg . The marriage had seven children:

Life

From 1727 to 1730 he served as senior war secretary . From November 1743 to 1746 he was governor of Rendsburg . He was also in command of Kronborg from 1732 . On July 18, 1746 von Revenfeld died of a gangrene in his throat. He was the owner of the Vandlinggård estate
