The German Luge Championships 2020 are scheduled to take place on November 22, 2020 on the artificial ice rink at Königssee .
In the national championships organized by the Bobsleigh and Sleigh Association for Germany , competitions are planned in the single-seater for men and women, the two-seater and in the team relay discipline. Apart from the team relay (only one run), all competitions should be decided in two runs.
Defending champion
At the German Championships in luge in December 2019 on the luge track in the Thuringian Oberhof won Julia Taubitz in single-seater of women, Johannes Ludwig in single-seater men and Toni Eggert / Sascha Benecken in the doubles of the men. The Thuringia 1 team around Julia Taubitz, Sebastian Bley and Toni Eggert / Sascha Benecken secured victory in the team relay.
