There were five pairs of doubles registered in the title fight for the national championship, but Patric Leitner and Alexander Resch did not compete. After the first run, André Florschütz and Torsten Wustlich led ahead of Marcel Lorenz and Christian Baude as well as Sebastian Schmidt and André Forker . Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt were in fourth place. The championship title was secured by Florschütz / Wustlich, who also set the fastest time in the second run. Lorenz / Baude became runner-up; Wendl / Arlt secured bronze because Schmidt / Forker - who already missed the lead during the first run due to a driving error shortly before the finish line - fell at a similar point in the second run and did not reach the finish line.
