The German Luge Championships 2018 took place on November 18, 2018 in the Veltins-Eisarena in Winterberg . The championships were also the last selection and qualification races for the Luge World Cup 2018/19 .

The titles went to defending champion Natalie Geisenberger in the women's singles, Felix Loch in the men's singles and Robin Geueke / David Gamm in the doubles. For the third time, a team relay was held at the German championships, which was again won by the “Sunshine Training Group” around Natalie Geisenberger, Felix Loch and Tobias Wendl / Tobias Arlt .

Defending champion

At the German Luge Championships 2017 in Altenberg, Natalie Geisenberger won in the women's singles, Andi Langenhan in the men’s singles and Toni Eggert / Sascha Benecken in the men’s doubles. Last year, Natalie Geisenberger, Felix Loch and Tobias Wendl / Tobias Arlt secured victory in the team relay. Langenhan and Eggert / Benecken did not take part in the German Championships in 2018.
